Arm injuries are fairly common because the arms are used very often in daily life, especially in the workplace.

Some of the most frequent causes of arm injuries include slips, trips and falls, road traffic accidents, and accidents in the workplace especially those involving heavy machinery.

Arm injuries are also caused by overuse which leads to repetitive strain injury. Factor or office work that involves repetitive movements or using the same tools for long period can lead to painful and disruptive arm problems.  Some of the most common injuries suffered include bone fractures, dislocation, sprains, burns and amputation.

  • Fracture of forearm – £4,500 to £13,500 compensation
  • Major injury to one arm with permanent ongoing disability – approximately £35,000 compensation
  • Loss of use of one arm – approximately £75,000 compensation
  • Loss of use of both arms – £175,000 compensation
  • Loss of one arm – £100,000 compensation
  • Loss of both arms – £165,000 to £210,000 compensation
