Chest and Rib Injuries

Chest and Rib Injuries

Chest and rib injuries range in their severity and can have long term effects on health.

Compensation claims for lung conditions such as mesothelioma and asbestosis are becoming more common as people who worked with asbestos in the past begin to develop illnesses associated with exposure.

Chest injuries often occur in road traffic accidents and falls from height. In many cases damage to the chest and ribs can cause long term damage to the lungs, heart and soft tissue. Traumatic injuries in the most serious cases will typically lead to a reduction in life expectancy, permanent damage and impairment of normal functions. In these cases the amount of compensation you can expect to receive will be substantial.

  • Rib fractures– £1,850 to £2,500
