Neck Injury Compensation
Neck injuries can range from serious fractures that threaten the spinal cord to less serious cases of whiplash. Whiplash is common in car accidents and can cause long term neck problems, whilst serious injuries to the vertebrae in the neck can lead to paralysis.
- Typically a minor whiplash injury with full recovery with a few weeks to a year will receive £500 to £3,000 compensation
- Whiplash injuries and neck injuries where there are fractures, dislocations or permanent pain, stiffness or discomfort £8,750 to £22,500 compensation
- Very severe neck injuries with no movement and severe headaches can receive up to £100,000 compensation
