It has recently come to light that thousands of British patients have been fitted with faulty hip replacements made by the manufacturer DePuy International Limited.
Some patients fitted with the hip placements have reported experiencing agonising pain as the metal fittings have worn away releasing toxic metals into the blood, and causing benign tumours and inflammation to occur.
