Sexual Harassment at Work Laws
The law surrounding sexual harassment at work covers inappropriate behaviour by employers, colleagues and third parties, such as customers, distributors and clients.
Sexual harassment includes:
- Leering at someone's body
- Unwelcome comments of a sexual nature
- Displaying offensive material
- Sending offensive emails
- Unnecessary touching or unwanted physical contact
However, there is a time limit for making a claim - normally within three months of last being harassed. This means it's extremely important to seek legal advice from expert solicitors as soon as possible.
